Dear residents, families and friends,
With the Covid-19 Omicron variant spreading throughout New Zealand, the threat is still very high for our vulnerable residents and staff. We’ve been busy reviewing our procedures and want to reassure you we are taking all the necessary steps to keep it out of our facilities and keep everyone safe.
We have now received updated guidelines from the New Zealand Aged Care Association on operating under the RED Covid Protection Framework.
While there are no changes to our current visiting protocols and procedures, we are pleased to advise that from Monday 14 February, 2022 residents will be able to go on restricted outings.
We request that you please consult with the Management/Clinical team prior to planning outings so you know what the current requirements are.
We will also resume our van trips to places of interest to get our residents out and about and enjoy the remainder of this nice summer weather.
