Ambridge Rose offers respite care services, delivered by our skilled team of registered nurses and experienced healthcare assistants and offer activities, meals and assistance with daily living.
We understand that healthcare challenges can be difficult and emotional, so we prioritise providing compassionate care that keeps residents and their needs at the forefront of decision making.
We believe it’s important to understand the options available so you can make informed decisions about the care for your loved one. At Ambridge Rose, our care planning includes discussions about the social, spiritual and practical care needs of residents. We can help connect you with social workers, chaplains, or other resources to provide additional support during this time.
Whether you are seeking respite care for a short or longer period of time, we encourage you to get in touch to discuss your needs.

Respite care may also benefit more than just the caregiver – it can be of benefit to the person receiving care, too.

Respite Care at Ambridge Rose
Respite care provides primary caregivers with a short-term option to take a break from caring for their loved one, while ensuring their loved one is in safe hands.
At Ambridge Rose, we understand that being a primary caregiver can be emotionally and physically challenging, so we offer respite care as a way for caregivers to take a moment to recuperate, recharge, and return home refreshed.
Respite care can provide a new environment or opportunity for a resident to participate in, helping to prevent carer burnout, while maintaining a high standard of care and quality of life.
Ambridge Rose’s respite care is available at all of our facilities (subject to availability) with single bedrooms and access to a Registered Nurse and Healthcare Assistants. We also offer regular activities and programmes to keep our residents engaged and entertained. We can accommodate any dietary requirements as well.
We encourage you to reach out to us to discuss whether respite care is right for you and your loved one.
