Innovations from Australia

In July 2022, co-owner Allan Sargeant attended the Information Technology Across Care 2022 (ITAC) conference that investigated technology for a sustainable care sector in Australia.

It was an ideal opportunity to review Leecare Solutions newest app that includes clinical innovations such as 3D wound mapping and facial recognition that identifies when a person is in pain.
Ambridge Rose has used Leecare for many years and the clinical team will be trialling the updated app.
This was the first time Allan attended the ITAC conference and many of Australia’s care regulations and tech-tools could become the way of the future for New Zealand.
Importantly, the management team are looking for ways to improve productivity and IT compatibility between Ministry of Health systems and aged care providers.
