Milal Missionary choir visits Ambridge Rose
We recently had the privilege from the New Zealand Milal Missionary Choir Group to come and perform their beautiful traditional dance and music for our lovely residents.
The New Zealand choir was established in 2005 but the first World Milal Missionary Choir was established in 1987 in New York City. Choir members volunteer their time and the choir is a non-profit and self-funded organisation, with 32 branches across 16 countries.
It was lovely to see their traditional fan dance (Buchaechum), and learn more about the traditional clothing and jewellery that they wore. Residents enjoyed the rousing song and prayers, with many joining in singing with the choir.
Many thanks to the New Zealand Milal Missionary Choir for visiting us and bringing joy and delight to residents of The Manor.
