Ambridge Rose level 4 lockdown until further notice
Dear residents, families and friends,
As advised by the Prime Minister on February 14, 2021 Auckland was placed in level 3 lockdown from 11.59pm for the subsequent 72 hours.
To support the well-being of our residents and staff, we have made the decision to stop all visitors from entering our facilities immediately.
Effectively, we are in level 4 lockdown until further notice.
The only exception to this will be the families of residents in palliative care or who are in end of life care.
These visitors must contact the clinical or facility manager to book a time to visit and will be required to follow careful protocols for hygiene wellness and social distancing.
We understand this may cause a high degree of distress for residents and families, but we must find ways of stopping the spread of this virus to our most vulnerable residents and staff.
Please remember you can still keep in touch with your loved one by phone call, calling using FaceTime, Viber, WhatsApp and Skype as a way of keeping in touch.
How this will work is as follows:
1. Please ring the facility to obtain a time slot between 9.30am and 2.30pm and provide your contact details and preferred contact method.
2. 30-minute time slots will be available
3. Activities staff will make the call to you at the allocated time
4. Calls will be limited to 15-minutes
I personally want to thank you all for your understanding and support in these trying times.
My management team is doing its very best to support our staff and your loved ones, and if you have any concerns regarding their wellbeing, please contact the manager directly.
I will keep you updated as the situation further unfolds.
We are here to help, so please let us know if you have any queries or concerns.
Keep well and be safe,
Kind regards
ALLAN SARGEANT
