Diana Ciobanu

My time at Ambridge Rose began in June 2020 as a Diversional Therapist. I put together activities and plans to help keep our resident’s hearts, minds and bodies active.

As Facility Manager at The Beach House, my role involves guiding the staff, liaising with residents, their families and the clinical team. I enjoy starting and finishing the day with a greeting and hug.

I’m passionate about what I do, and I like the variety of working in a specialist dementia environment. I also thrive on the opportunity to support the team with my knowledge and skills gained from over 15 years in the aged care industry.

I try to bring music into every day to help lift people’s spirits and draw out memories from the past. There’s nothing more lovely than seeing the residents faces light up when they hear a familiar tune. You will often see me joining in singing and dancing with the residents.

One of the many enjoyable aspects of working at Ambridge Rose is the strong family environment, and I feel very privileged to be part of the team.

Outside of work, I enjoy strength training at the gym. I have a keen interest in politics and current affairs from around the world. I FaceTime my family overseas and I absolutely love planning my next holiday.
