Kay Amurao

I have a background in nursing in the Philippines, where I gained valuable experience and built a strong foundation of knowledge. I joined the Ambridge Rose family in July 2024 after completing the competency assessment programme, and I have loved the opportunities to learn, grow and develop here.

Becoming a Nurse Manager has been a significant milestone in my career and one I am truly proud of.

I am dedicated to empowering my team. I believe that when staff feel truly valued, supported, and confident, they are naturally inspired to deliver that signature level of care Ambridge Rose is known for: delivering safe, compassionate, and person-centred care, ensuring every resident is treated with dignity, respect, and kindness.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my daughter, relaxing at the beach or in the park with a delicious Mövenpick Swiss chocolate ice cream.
