We offer a total of 104 bedrooms private hospital and rest home level care in our Ministry of Health Certified Facility.
All rooms are single while some rooms have toilet and shower ensuites or toilet ensuites, and others have access to balconies with views overlooking the Tamaki Estuary.
Often the requirement for hospital-level care is unplanned and families may need to find a home quickly. A district health board assessor will determine if a person requires assistance with eating, daily hygiene and mobility that requires the higher level of care.

The Villa is a restored historic home, built in 1931 as the farm homestead for Archie and Gladys (nee Armitage) Millen on their 100-acre town supply dairy farm.
Formerly called Marvon Downs, the 24-bedroom secure dementia rest home is full of the character of yesteryear. Residents enjoy their own private single rooms, which are bright, airy and welcoming.
The compassionate, creative and good-natured staff actively encourage all residents to join daily activities that enhance quality of life for people living with dementia.
There are bright and sunny lounges, as well as secure gardens that are popular spots for relaxing and rewarding diversional therapies. The raised bed vegetable gardens are very popular with residents and produce some crops for the on-site kitchen.
The front of the home has a sunny deck for all to enjoy and there are small garden retreats that provide privacy in sunny havens.
Residents are assisted with activities for daily living, personal hygiene care and possibly some mobility assistance.
